Hey Everyone, I just wanted to pass on some info on about some really great products that Inox puts out: The first is their MX2 Battery Conditioner. This is an additive that when added to the cells of a standard 12v, 8v, or 6v battery, will remove the sulfation that has accumulated on the lead. This accumulation results in loss of power and charging capacity. MX2 restores the battery to “like new” condition, resulting in more power, faster starts, and quicker recharges.
Prices range from $9.50 for a single dose to $39.50 for enough to treat up to ten batteries. I’ve used MX2 with great results in both of my marine batteries and all of our automobiles. The price and results sure beats having to purchase a new battery.
The other products that I have had great success with are the MX3 and MX4 lubricants, and the MX4 grease. The MX3 is a fantastic all purpose lube with numerous fishing tackle and marine applications. I’ve used it on all of my reels, tackle, and throughout my Chris Craft’s motor and electronics. It will not wash off with water.
The MX4 w/Lanolin is a fine lube for use where weather and environmental conditions can be extreme. I have used it on just about every square inch of our trailer and like the MX3, it will not wash off with water, even after repeated trips up and down the ramp. I used the MX4 grease to paint the lower unit and hull of the Chris Craft. It goes on clear and stays on. I noticed a huge difference in the amount of mussels and algae that were attached this year. Prices start at $7.95.
Also, with the exception of MX2, Inox products are “green” and non-toxic!
